Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 require us to tell you which ones we use and to ask your permission before we set any that are not strictly necessary. This page is that list. It is deliberately short: we run no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking SDKs on either site or in the apps.
Effective date: 17 October 2026. Set by Enterprise Automation Services Ltd; questions to privacy@loadoutsolo.com.
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site to do what you asked it to do, so the law does not require consent for them. You can still block them in your browser, but signing in will not work without the session cookie.
| Name | What it does | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
loadout_solo_session, loadout_coach_session, loadout_client_session, loadout_session | Keeps you signed in. Holds a random token that matches a session record on our server; nothing about you is stored in the cookie itself. Marked HttpOnly and Secure. | 30 days from the last use, deleted when you sign out |
loadout_consent | Remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner (accepted or rejected) so we do not ask again. | 12 months |
Sign-in with Apple or Google uses the Firebase Authentication library, which keeps its sign-in state in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) on our own domain while you sign in. It is needed to complete the sign-in you asked for and is cleared when you sign out.
Checkout pages run by Apple, Google, our web billing provider or our payment provider are on their own domains and set their own strictly necessary cookies under their own policies.
Analytics and attribution (needs your consent)
| Name | What it does | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
loadout_vid | A random visitor id, set only after you accept in the banner. It lets us tell which of our own links, posts and campaigns brought you to the site and whether that visit led to a trial. It is first party, HttpOnly and Secure; it is not shared with anyone and contains no information about you. If you create an account, the id is linked to the account; when you delete the account the link is removed. | 400 days |
What we record against it: the page you landed on, the campaign code or UTM parameters in the link, the referring page, your browser's user-agent string and a two-letter country code if our hosting provider supplies one. We never store your IP address with it.
If you reject or ignore the banner nothing is set. A click on one of our campaign links is still counted, without any identifier, so the total for that link is right, and no cookie is written.
Signed-in product events
Once you are signed in, the apps record product events against your account (for example "plan generated", "session logged", "paywall viewed") so we can see whether the product works and what it costs to run. These are tied to your account, not to a cookie, and the privacy notice explains the lawful basis and how to object. No browser storage is used for them.
How to change your choice
Use the buttons below to accept or reject the visitor cookie. Rejecting after accepting deletes loadout_vid straight away. You can also delete cookies for this site in your browser settings, which brings the banner back on your next visit.
Mobile apps
The iOS and Android apps use no cookies. They keep your sign-in session on the device, and the Loadout Solo app generates its own random install id so a campaign link you opened on the phone can be matched to the account you create; it is sent to us only at signup and is removed from your account when you delete it.
